- Provide assistance in performing diagnostic and interventional cardiac catherizations and other related procedures.
- Assist physicians with patient monitoring during procedures.
- Documents evaluation results, progress reports, treatment plans and other data using appropriate formats and systems.
- Responsible for ensuring that EKG equipment is in working order.
- During the procedure, to monitor EKG readouts and keep the doctor apprised of anything considered abnormal.
- Maintenance of the consumables such as stock, expiry dates, etc.
- To keep and maintain the machines in good working condition at all times.
- Reading and interpreting test procedures and explaining the procedures to patients.
- Co-ordination with Consultants and organizing staff for emergencies.
